Oh it's a handy site if you're a regular reader. You can even log manga and stuff if you wanted. As long as it has an ISBN number I think.

I never bothered really to get an account. Usually kept track on my own what I read. Though haven't been for a bit.

My taste in books is awful so no one would want to see my profile anyway.

I consider that a lie, as that's what I should be saying. Your taste, from what you've shared, sounds quite good to me. :'D

My mother told some Swedes what authors I've been reading and they were surprised that a young American man would read most of those books.

I mostly like obscure books people never hear of. Well, some are more common, but some aren't. XD Most of what I read is YA.

I always find it hard to know if my writing is YA or not. Age based genres confuse the heck out of me.
Also, I'm winning books a lot lately. I really need to stop dilly-dallying on my reading e-books. ><

I think whether or not something is YA is somewhat arbitrary.

Generally "YA" is relatively simple wording and the story and themes are meant to be of interest to teenagers and young adults. The line between YA and other genres can be blurred but I do think YA can get stuck on certain tropes like lately the love of dystopias and love triangles likely influenced by The Hunger Games.

Most of my stuff is YA. I have some that are geared for older or younger audiences as well. A lot of fantasy stuff. Particularly fond of Terry Brooks. I blame my sister. And my mom. XD
