American football world championship was cancelled this year and won't happen until the next in 2023. Australia, intended for this year, remains the host.
I don’t know why but I sighed of relief because I couldn’t care less about American football lol.

Apparently a lot of publishing houses tell African authors they shouldn't write any books in their native language. While I get eventually the need of a translation for wider audiences it would seem to me pretty awful to tell an author not to write in their preferred language.

Not only no team but no player has won twice DotA 2 tournament The International (played annually since 2011).

That may change within the next two days 8)

I haven't touched Dota 2 since the beta. Feels weird it's been that long.

I learned lots of little things this past week, including:

1. people eat peanut butter with butter sandwiches.
2. sometimes it's safe when someone claims to be a taxi and offers you a ride in their mysterious black van.

Yukio Mishima is on the LGBT Walk of Fame in California. Which humors me since while Mishima was gay or bi, it's arguable which to some extent, he was also basically a Japanese fascist and didn't hang around the gay community beyond some gay bars occasionally. He also wasn't the biggest fan of America. So I have to wonder what he would think of that if he was alive.
