All-wheel drive is nice, but it's so hard to find a reasonably fuel efficient vehicle that is AWD.

I wonder if the 'K' cars like some of the Daihatsus and the like that are generally seen in Japan (low power output, generally tiny cars) have decent fuel efficiency. They're also cute, too.

At least front wheel drive isn't as bad as rear wheel. I had a rear wheel drive truck. It was horrible for snow.

Yeah FR/MR isn't great for off-road or treacherous conditions, to be honest. MRs particularly oversteer because of the weight being at the back, but when they're on good roads and the like they handle pretty nicely from what I know. :3

My first truck is a 2004 Ford Ranger which I still drive. My mother plans on buying a new vehicle in the coming years and has offered to give me her car so I have something I can use when I go work somewhere. It's a 2009 Ford Focus and it's pretty comfy. Really as long as it runs I'm not very picky. My dad taught me to drive in some of the biggest rust buckets on the planet.

I had a 1993 Ford Ranger that my grandmother gave me in 2014. I drove it for about two years, and I loved it. I sold it because the body was rusting out.

Oh I'm rather fond of Ford since it's my dad's favorite brand although we've used plenty of other vehicles. I like Toyota quite a bit too. The Tacomas are pretty rad trucks.

We had a Toyota my dad bought for like 300 bucks that had a billion miles on it and it ran for ages before it finally killed over so my dad sold it to someone for parts and got a Dodge for 400 which has a billion miles on it and it's still going years later. It's amazing how durable older trucks can be.

I really like the gas mileage of compact cars, though. :3
