People should just learn that they need to text me if they even want me to think about replying. :P

my android actually warns me if a number is a suspected robo caller/spam caller.
whether that's google, amazon, AT&T, or something else I've no clue but it was a nice feature to find when I got my smartphone setup.

that being said, it's always funny to get the "microsoft tech support" scammers because they tell me about how my windows computer was detected with a virus and I'm like... what are you talking about dude?, I don't have any windows computers, I use linux!
Instant hangup every time. :lmao:

it's been 6 months since I got one of those though, mostly just political garbage now.

That's a helpful feature, Spook. I wish my phone had that.

@ meosepad, I think a lot of smartphones have come out with it in the last year, if only because it's such a serious problem.

you know it's a problem when a feature to fight it shows up on release with new devices.

I wish my parents would stop having the impulse to answer the phone every time it rings. It makes the robo calls worse a lot of times.

@ slooroo: IKR?

just by answering a lot of robocalls mark down your number as available.

what I'd like is an option/mode to give numbers you down know or are suspected spam callers the signal that the line is no longer in service.

kinda hard for computers to see that it's not at that point and your number get's marked as NIS and thus passed over in the future.
