why bother

Post by Princess MeowsePad » 2 months ago

i'm running out of motivation. I get little to no pleasure from doing things that I used to enjoy. I have no money despite working my ass off. I have zero talents and a shitty personality. I just don't know what to do anymore...

Can relate to feeling burnt out. Best advice is to take a break and relax for a while.

I'm overworked and take home just barely enough to pay my rent and bills. It's so fucked up.

For starters, your personality isn't shitty- at least not to everyone. I certainly don't see it as shitty. I admire how hard you work and how willing you are to teach me things and give advice. But as Yumika said, burnout isn't rare- and the best thing to do is to take some time for yourself. You even said you're overworked.

I agree. I don’t find you like that at all. I think you’re funny and fun.

But I know the feeling. I sometimes feel like that myself.

Just try to relax and take a break if you feel you need it.

You managed to keep us together. Something I tried to do some time ago, and fatally screwed up at.

You’re actually quite a sweet person overall to be honest. I think you’re just over pressuring some things and letting yours (and others, like mine) erratic behaviour get to you a bit too much, it’s like you think about something bad and then it crawls deeper and deeper as you think of it more :/

... I know exactly how that feels :c

It's okay to take a break when you feel burned out on a project. Trust me, I know that feeling. Take a step back, and relax to help.
