Hobbies outside of the interwebz?

Yeah we don't really have any parks or stuff that I know of offhand. There was one somewhere I used to go as a kid that had a cool wooden playground.

I know some years back they talked about putting sidewalks in, but it didn't happen. My dad didn't want it anyway. He didn't want to have to shovel it in the winter. XD

I did used to walk some places though. Have walked to nearby stores and used to walk home from school sometimes.

I live next to a state park but this time of year you can't pay me to walk through that snake den. I do walk the local battlefield a bit but circles are boring.

I used to live near a state park, but that was when I was in middle school. It's my grandmother's house. That's when i'd always go to the pond and walk around it and eventually got my phobia of geese.

My favorite place to walk on the park is around one of the many lakes. Funny thing is most of the park is built on my ancestors' property. Government bought it up and turned it into a park.

I'd rather they built more parks in my area than they do giant buildings.

There aren't any dollar signs for corporations in parks, though! xD

Add topiary bushes designed to be dollar signs. There you go, problem solved! xD

Well the state park I live next to was built as part of the public works projects FDR started. The New Deal did a lot of great works in Tennessee back in the day. Not getting political it's simply the truth.

Ahh. Yeah, that was a good deal. New Jersey is unfortunately becoming more and more industrialized, I don't think we deserve to be the 'garden state' any more.

Yes, the New Deal did some very wonderful things. Too bad FDR's legacy is checkered by the Japanese internment.
