I can dislocate my left thumb without actually being hurt. How that works: In 2012, i body slammed my thumb while turning around in bed and likely broke the joint. The next morning, i was able to do this really rare trick. And i say "rare" because i've met one other person since 2012 who could the exact same thing.

I did in 2012, back when i was 12. The damage is permanent. And i can do a creepy trick with it: Dislocating it on purpose, then immediately flipping it back. However, doing that trick may cause it to be dislocated in an unhealthy way permanently.

Will you lose your ability to answer questions if you permanently destroy your hand?

I type with my left hand and stabilize my index finger (which is the finger i type with because i am a typing noob) with my thumb. I just tried typing this one sentence without the thumb stabilization, and it seems to work just fine.

My answer: I don't think so.
