That's not a bad thing, though. :O

I'm awful at poetry so I can't judge it. The rest seems solid to me though.

Is poetry your preference?

Poetry is often easier for me, but I love writing stories in general too. In fact, I plan to start working on one after I finish my usual rounds on forums. It's Camp NaNoWriMo, a writing event, and I plan to work hard on a story not really in my usual style/genre. :)

I know someone who does NaNoWriMo but I don't do anything like that. I just work on whatever captures my interest at the time.

I try to do every NaNoWriMo event myself. I don't do well often times, but it keeps me writing and gives me a goal to work towards~ I've won once though.

Is it worth doing? I just tend to never join special events and hate working on a set schedule.

It motivates me to write more, I find- and it's not like it's a 'set schedule'. My writing is never scheduled. It's just that there's a deadline, basically. Though I also just like seeing how many people I can write more/faster than. It's good if you're competitive about stupid things. Also good if you're like me and edit as you write and your inner editor stops you a lot.
