Tropico

Post by slooroo » 3 months ago

So another thing I like to do to kill time is sometimes just boot up Tropico 4 and see how condensed I can create an island while being as efficient as possible with land. The entire Tropico series is pretty fun but 4 is easily my favorite. I haven't played 6 yet and I felt like 5 was a huge step down from 4. I haven't played 3, 2, or 1 so long I'd have to play them again to have good opinion again. For anyone who doesn't know what Tropico is though you are the leader of an island Caribbean nation called Tropico. Your duty is to make it the greatest nation on Earth with the aid of many hilarious characters. So you'll have to create entire industries, housing, government, and so on to operate the island.

It sounds like my kind of game. Is it an expensive game to get?

I think Tropico 4 with all of the DLC bonus missions and stuff it's like 25 dollars? Less if you get base game and even base game has quite a bit of content.

I honestly had never heard of this game until you mentioned it to me the other day, sloo. Was it commercially successful?

Successful enough that it has console and PC releases so I'd say so. I think 4 is the best one but all of them are worth playing.
